ST. MARY’S SUMMER CAMP

Our Purpose:

To share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the children and provide opportunities for spiritual growth to nurture their Christian Orthodox faith and develop their Christian life skills.

Our Objectives:

TO TEACH the children about the Holy Trinity:

• • • God the Father, the Lover of all mankind and Creator of all things,
    • God the Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us; and
    • God the Holy Spirit, who comforts us and guides us.

TO CREATE an environment in which they can grow and develop in faith and obedience, through study of saint’s life, daily prayer, song and different activities.

TO PROVIDE the opportunity for children to enjoy new and challenging activities which:

• • • Promote responsible behaviour and the development of Christian life;
    • Build servants for current and future Church services; and
    • Encourage the children to have healthy relationships with one another.

Monitors and other staff members will be provided with the opportunity for leadership development and service to others.

TO ASSIST the children in becoming active members of the Church community.
